- Upgraded 4-Ingredient Formula: Our orchid bark potting mix features an improved formula, replacing coco peat with pumice for better aeration and a more stable structure. Fine perlite has been replaced with chunky perlite to enhance drainage and reduce compaction. Ingredient ratios have been adjusted to create a well-balanced mix of forest moss, pine bark, pumice and chunky perlite for balanced moisture, better drainage and more airflow around orchid roots.
- Pre-Mixed & Ready To Use: DUSPRO orchid potting mix for repotting combines forest moss, pine bark, pumice and chunky perlite in one ready-to-use blend. No need to purchase, measure or mix separate ingredients. Available in 6 sizes: 1, 2, 4, 6, 10 and 20 Quarts dry volume for a single orchid, multiple pots or a larger collection. Any leftover mix can be stored for future repotting. Note: THE PRODUCT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE POT.
- Better Drainage & More Root Airflow: With a size range of 1–4 cm, pine bark mulch supports drainage and helps create open spaces within the mix. Pumice contributes to aeration and moisture balance, while chunky perlite, with its porous and airy structure, helps keep the mix well aerated. This orchid soil for repotting creates more space around the roots and is well suited for use in clear, slotted or ventilated orchid pots.
- Balanced Moisture: Forest moss helps maintain moisture within the mix. Orchid roots need an airy growing medium that also retains enough moisture, so balancing airflow and moisture is essential for an ideal orchid mix. The four ingredients work together to reduce the dense, water-holding conditions that can develop as older orchid media break down. All ingredients are fumigated and phytosanitary licensed before export to the USA, supporting a clean, prepared growing medium for orchid repotting.
